Prostatitis

Prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate) is the most common prostate problem for men younger than 50, and affects 10-15% of the US male population. There are four types of prostatitis: chronic, acute bacterial, chronic bacterial, and asymptomatic inflammatory. Acute bacterial prostatitis is a potentially life-threatening condition that requires rapid diagnosis and treatment from a medical doctor. Prostatitis occurs when prostate cells are being bathed in toxins and are stagnating without fresh blood or proper nutrients. This is generally the result of a poor diet and other environmental factors of modern living, leading to a toxic colon and toxins in the blood and tissues. The prostate functions as a filter to protect the sperm from toxins, so it is extremely susceptible to toxic influences. In addition, the prostate is located near the most toxic section of the colon.

Essential oils may be superior to other supplements because they contain the life source of the plant and the highest healing frequency and have no additives or fillers like most supplements do. Essential oils are effective because their nutrients are readily assimilated on a cellular level. All men should take their prostate health seriously as they age. The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2019 there will be about 175,000 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the United States, and about 31,000 deaths from prostate cancer. About 1 man in 9 will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. The average age at the time of diagnosis is 66.

Although it's not a cancerous condition, living with BPH can be very challenging.
