Vitamin A

This means that balance is key with vitamin A -- you’ll want to consume enough to get all of the hair growth benefits, without overdoing it and causing thinning. The recommended dietary allowance of Vitamin A is 900 micrograms (mcg) per day for men and 700 mcg per day for women. It’s also a critical vitamin for the function and maintenance of your internal organs, including your heart, lungs and kidneys. Vitamin B12

Luckily, there are several potential ways to solve this problem. The first option, which is more of a temporary fix than a permanent solution, is to use a vitamin D supplement to bring your levels up to normal.
